Watch Roy Firestone; help BHS, DHS and FLC

Roy Firestone will perform a benefit concert for Bayfield High School, Durango High School and Fort Lewis College athletics at 7 p.m. Friday at the Community Concert Hall on the FLC campus.

Firestone is a broadcaster, actor, singer and storyteller.

The Dr. Dave Johnson Memorial 4v4 Indoor Soccer Tournament will take place Saturday and Sunday at the San Juan College Human Performance Center in Farmington.

The tournament is for ages 5 and over.

The cost is $140 per team, with six players maximum on each roster. The fee also includes an all-day pass for the climbing wall for each team member.

Each team is guaranteed three games minimum in the two-division field. The top two teams in each bracket will play for the tournament championship.

Chili Knocker Rendezvous next weekend at FLC

Warm weather brings softball tournaments, and Knocker A.C. is hosting the Chili Knocker Softball Rendezvous on Feb. 18-19 at Fort Lewis College.

Coed, men’s and women’s brackets will be offered, and each team will play at least three games.

The entry fee is $200, and the entry deadline is Feb. 16.
