Devan Layton, 3, works on her shoelace spider web Wednesday morning during the Durango Nature Studies In-Town Wee Walk Abouts. A dozen children learned about spiders while sitting in the shade in Rotary Park. Walk Abouts happen every Wednesday until Aug. 29. The Walk Abouts start at For the Birds near Rotary Park at 10 a.m. The cost is $5 per child, and walks are free for Durango Nature Study members.
