Kroegers to support Bear Smart efforts
During August, cashiers at Kroegers Ace Hardware, 8 Town Plaza, will sell $1 and $5 “bear paws” as a fundraiser for Bear Smart Durango.
Donations will support educating residents about coexisting with black bears, advocating for policies that limit foods that attract bears, making bear-proofing more available in the community and offering solutions to human-bear conflict.
