2:10 a.m. A man was bashing a woman’s head into a wall near Seventh Street and Main Avenue.
4:24 p.m. Someone reported that a man threw a beer at another man at Colorado Pongas, 121 W. Eighth St.
7:20 p.m. A woman said someone was trying to get into her room while she was sleeping at the Royal Motel, 2068 Main Ave.

1:26 a.m. About 10 people were fighting near 11th Street and Main Avenue.
9:25 a.m. A man was sniffing from an aerosol can near the Animas River Trail behind Walmart. Police made an arrest.
2:17 p.m. Several juveniles were throwing items at cars near Florida Road and Holly Avenue.
11:31 p.m. People were shining flashlights into a man’s window at the Budget Inn, 3077 Main Avenue.

7:05 p.m. A deer had an arrow sticking out of it and possibly needed to be put down in the 900 block of Animas View Drive.
7:06 p.m. A drunken man was attempting to crawl across the highway in the 5800 block of Main Avenue.
9:58 p.m. Several people from New Mexico were getting too close to a bear and her cubs at Ferringway Condos, 6 Ferringway Circle.

2:13 p.m. Someone reported a brush fire in the 1000 block of County Road 527, east of Bayfield.
6:04 p.m. Someone reported smoke in the 34200 block of U.S. Highway 550, north of Hermosa.
