Week 3 was brutal.
I blame the referees.
What’s your excuse?
I was 4 of 12 last week, which dropped my overall record to a dismal 22-25. Sub .500. Unbelievable. And unacceptable.
As evidence of a difficult week for pro football pick ’ems, Durangoan Victoria Townsend won the Week 3 Gridiron Green with a meager 11 of 16 correct.
At least she’s consistent; Townsend has gone 11-for-16 all three weeks and leads the local Greenies – and the Gridiron Gold – with 33 points in first place.
Rocky Graciano of Manteca, Calif., picked 14 of 16 to win the Week 3 national poll.
The one thing I have in common with Rocky, and it’s a good thing for the Guru: There’s a sequel to this movie.
Byes: Indianapolis, Pittsburgh.
