8:13 a.m. A woman reported that she hit a bicyclist near East Fourth Avenue and Eight Street. The driver stopped, but the bicyclist rode away.

12:52 p.m. A man in a truck was asking children for sexual favors at Schneider Park.

4:14 p.m. Someone reported that juveniles were drinking alcohol on the Animas River bank behind north City Market, 3130 Main Ave. Police responded but didn’t find anything.

5:28 p.m. A woman locked a child in a car in the 200 block of Sawyer Drive.

11:50 p.m. A bear was on someone’s porch on Miller Drive.

Thursday

6:35 a.m. Medics and firefighters responded to a traffic accident near U.S. Highway 550 and County Road 310, near Bondad.

8:48 a.m. Medics from the downtown fire station responded to someone who fell down.

Durango Fire & Rescue Authority responded to 15 calls Thursday.
