A dash of Christmas spirit

Aubrianna Ellis, 4, gets a boost from her dad, Peter Ellis, to sign the semitrailer containing the U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree on Friday afternoon on Main Avenue. The two were visiting family in Farmington and came up for the event. The 73-foot tree was cut down Nov. 2 in the Blanco Ranger District of the White River National Forest, near Meeker.
