Acupuncture, Asian healing business opens

Clearspring Acupuncture and Asian Medicine, a new holistic health clinic, is now open for business at 2243 Main Ave., Suite 3A.

Owner Rikki Gensheer is a licensed acupuncturist and a certified Diplomate of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Gensheer earned a master of arts in Oriental Medicine at Southern California University of Health Sciences, graduated summa cum laude, class valedictorian and received numerous clinical awards. She is a fifth-generation Durango native.

Acupuncture and Chinese herbs can treat many conditions including the common cold, insomnia, headaches, stress and back pain.
