John L. Smith shook hands with the public Tuesday night in the College Union Ballroom at Fort Lewis College. From the Southeastern Conference to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, Smith, the Skyhawks’ new football coach, inherits a winless FLC team. Smith spent last season coaching Division I Arkansas, and in 19 seasons as a head coach, he is 136-94.
