Durango Friends of the Arts announced its list of grantees for 2013. The groups will share $45,000 in funding. Founded in 1991, DFA is a nonprofit all-volunteer organization that supports the arts. It give grants to performing and visual arts projects, and programs that will provide educational and cultural benefits, to individual artists and groups, and it encourages cultural diversity through projects that will benefit the greatest number of people.
