Beyoncé Super? Nope, says PETA

Beyoncé’s Super Bowl halftime performance was definitely a crowd-pleaser, but the costume she wore onstage?

Not so much. At least according to PETA, which has called the superstar out for the custom Rubin Singer bodysuit she chose for the big show.

Her look combined leather, iguana and python skin, a combo that does not sit well with the animal-rights group, also knows as People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.

“We would take a bet that if Beyoncé watched our video exposés ... she’d probably not want to be seen again in anything made of snakes, lizards, rabbits or other animals who died painfully,” PETA said in a statement that it shared with E! “Today’s fashions are trending toward humane vegan options, and Beyoncé’s Super Bowl outfit missed the mark on that score.”
