Celebrating women

Nancy Stoffer, coordinator of Diversity Programming at Fort Lewis College, spearheaded the project  “A Light to Remember.” The decorated candle display at the college’s Exhibit Gallery “is a way for people to celebrate Women’s History Month through sharing a part of one’s own history,” Stoffer said. People decorated more than 170 candles with a picture of important women in their lives. The show ends Tuesday, when all of the candles will be lit. Enlarge photo
