Neighbors should be notified of crop dusting

I have organophosphate poisoning from the pesticide malathion. It has been 25 years. I have nervous-system damage. It has not gone away and cannot be fixed. As I get older, it is more of a struggle, but you just deal with it. It is what it is.

This morning, our neighbors had their fields crop-dusted. We were not notified in any way. I called my neighbor, who has beehives. The last time this happened all the bees died. Hive collapse?

Do we have to pass a law, or get an act of Congress to be notified when fields are going to be crop-dusted? I guess we do. What about our neighbors and friends who are totally into organic growing? How will this affect their crops? Can they still label them organic?

It’s too bad. I guess our neighbors are not more considerate of the people and families around them. I guess we need that act of Congress.
