Use filters when printing details of death

I have to say that I am angry at how some of the Herald’s stories are worded! People do not need to know some of the details you print about deceased people – such as how they defecated on the floor or what their blood-alcohol level was after they died (Herald, July 10).

Did you know that David White’s family was told that he died on impact because of his accident and not from drowning? How low can you go? Please use filters when it comes to sensitive issues. This town is small – people talk. Why would you want to tarnish the reputation of people after they have passed – no matter what the circumstances of their death?
