Disturbing stories bordered on sadistic

I feel the stories (Herald, Aug. 12 and 13) about the suicide victim in Hermosa were in very bad taste. Was it necessary to dig up the past about his mother? Don’t you think that the family has been through enough? That is old news and is really no concern to the public. The family knew the circumstances of his mother’s death and need not be reminded of it.

I didn’t feel the family of the 2001 suicide needed to be reminded of that death, either. I think both stories that I read in your paper almost seemed to be written to shock people.

These stories were almost sadistic, were very disturbing and the gory details were totally unnecessary.
