Colorado Mesa rallies on FLC volleyball

Colorado Mesa beat Fort Lewis College volleyball in four games TUesday night in Grand Junction.

Colorado Mesa (9-2, 2-1) beat FLC (1-10, 1-2) 18-25, 25-18, 25-13, 25-17 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference match.

Melissa Hess and Christian Otzen of the Mavericks led all hitters with 17 and 13 kills, respectively.

Madi Bickle and Hannah Starbuck had 11 kills each for FLC, and Ashley Wells had 10 kills. Bickle led the team with a .375 hitting percentage. Wells added 10 digs.

Jenna Kinzer led FLC with 14 digs, and Heather Danny had 25 assists.

Sunni Rae Baird led Colorado Mesa with 20 digs, and Jordyn Moody had 48 assists.

FLC next will play Western New Mexico at 7 p.m. Friday in Silver City, N.M.
