Acupuncture clinic available to veterans

A Durango Veterans Acupuncture Clinic will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m. at 635 East Fifth Ave.

This is a free, community-style acupuncture clinic for veterans and their families. The clinic is sponsored by The Durango Acupuncture Alliance.

San Juan Health offers flu shots

San Juan Basin Health Department, 281 Sawyer Drive in Bodo Industrial Park, will give flu shots from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. every Wednesday through Nov. 20.

The vaccines will be provided at low cost and are available to all ages. Flu shots or FluMist are available.

Gentle Yoga classes offered at church

Gentle Yoga with Jennifer Kiel, certified yoga instructor, will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Mondays and Thursdays at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 910 East Third Ave.

This class is ideally suited for senior citizens and people new to yoga. Drop-ins and beginners are welcome.
