The Holiday Farmers Market will take place 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the La Plata Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall. The market, which has an Old English theme this year, will include more than 30 vendors, selling everything from artisan cheeses to chocolates (I wouldn’t expect any tomatoes or watermelons, though). The market offers a good opportunity for shoppers to find not only gifts and stocking stuffers but also tasty additions to the holiday table.
