Mercy Bayfield clinic to open Monday

Second satellite unveiled in a week
Heather Poulton helps set up the new Mercy Family Medicine Clinic in Bayfield on Thursday for its opening next week.

A new Mercy Regional Medical Center clinic is scheduled to open Monday in Bayfield Center Plaza, 480 Wolverine Drive, Suite 3.

The 3,200-square-foot clinic is the second Mercy Family Medicine satellite to open this month. The first, known as the Horse Gulch Medical Campus, is at 810 E. Third St., Suite 201, in Durango. It opened May 12.

A third Mercy Family Medicine clinic is at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Grandview at 1010 Three Springs Blvd.

The Bayfield clinic will have a primary-care provider – either Dr. Richard Keller or Ronda Ramsier, a nurse practitioner – to see patients Monday, Thursday and Friday. On Tuesday and Wednesday, only services such as lab work will be available.

The clinic will be open Monday through Friday, however, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., for lab work or to make appointments to see a provider. The telephone number is 764-9150.

Mercy Family Medicine was Durango Family Medicine before Mercy Regional Medical Center bought it.

Mercy Regional Medical Center is a nonprofit 82-bed, acute-care hospital, part of the Centura Health network.
