Chris Harley Rupp, right, a speedskater and firefighter from Madison, Wis., who says he doesn’t consider himself a cyclist, is currently on a 6,500-mile bicycle trek from Seattle to Miami, raising money for Make-A-Wish. Rupp, 26, is cycling without a support vehicle, spending nights in fire stations.
