A Durango man was in critical condition Monday night after a rollover crash Sunday night on Molas Pass, north of Durango on U.S. Highway 550.

Driver Emilio Hernandez-Martinez was not wearing a seat belt and was seriously injured, said Capt. Adrian Driscoll with the Colorado State Patrol.

His passenger, whom Driscoll could not identify, was restrained and received only minor injuries.

Hernandez-Martinez was airlifted first to Mercy Regional Medical Center and then to St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood.
