Judge Gardner by actions, not statements

Why should any Coloradan believe Cory Gardner’s statements to the Herald that he wants to address conservation if elected to the U.S. Senate (Herald, July 7)? He has a League of Conservation Voters score of 4 percent, meaning he votes against conservation 96 percent of the time in the House of Representatives. Judge Gardner by his actions, not his statements. He’s been one of the most anti-environmental voices in Congress. Sen. Mark Udall, on the other hand has been a leader in protecting our land, water and air. Udall deserves our vote.
