Ska fundraiser to benefit Habitat for Humanity

Help the community build affordable homes while enjoying a cold beer.

The Hammers and High Heels fundraiser will take place Saturday from 7 to 10 p.m. At Ska Brewing Co. in Bodo Industrial Park, according to a news release issued by the Habitat for Humanity of La Plata County. The cost to attend is $25 per person.

The event will include food, live music and a silent auction to help benefit Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit that helps residents struggling with finding affordable housing due to finances.

About 51 percent of county residents fall under the Habitat’s income guidelines, according the release.
