Lane closures next week at CDOT intersection

Traffic passes as work continues in the middle of Camino Del Rio at College Drive as construction continues on the CDOT project at U.S. Highway 550/160.

The work that the Colorado Department of Transportation and its contractor, Concrete Works of Colorado, are doing at and around the DoubleTree Hotel intersection will require lane closures Monday through Friday next week.

In a nutshell:

On U.S. Highway 550 south of the intersection, southbound motorists should expect a single lane 24 hours a day for the majority of the week. Northbound travelers will find some single-lane traffic.

Two-lane shifts in both directions are likely throughout the week.

On U.S. Highway 550 north of the intersection, there will be limited lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and after 6:30 p.m.

On U.S. Highway 160 west, there will be single-lane traffic in both directions. Eastbound lane closures can occur from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and after 6:30 p.m. Westbound travelers may find lanes closures anytime.

On Roosa Avenue, expect northbound lane closures during daylight hours. There will be no left turns from eastbound U.S. Highway 160 onto Roosa Avenue.
