Google taking 360s of local businesses

Google Maps has provided a marketing opportunity for local businesses to showcase their facilities through an interactive tool, according to a news release issued by the Durango Business Improvement District.

The “See Inside” feature will allow potential customers to tour businesses through photographs for distribution on Google Maps.

The virtual tours allows customers to start from the street view of the location and enter the facility to look around. Google photographer Brent Bayless will setup a business’ “Google Places” listing – a compilation of online listing that allows business owners to provide various information, including updates and specials online, according to the release.

Opportunities are available for up to a two-hour shoot through July 28. Contact Bayless at (512) 300-5454 to schedule a session.
