A representative from Colorado Connections Academy, a virtual or online K-12 school, will be at the Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave., on Tuesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. to chat with the public and answer questions about the academy.
The academy allows kindergarten through 12th grade students to interact with a teacher and/or fellow student via the computer.
Colorado Connections Academy has more than 2,000 students in the state. Since it is a public school, there is no tuition and students work at their own pace. There are field trips to allow students and their families to meet others in the program.
