Supreme Court got it right in Hobby Lobby

I want to address the recent Supreme Court decision in favor of Hobby Lobby. Hobby Lobby employees are not prohibited from accessing any form of abortion they choose, but they cannot force Hobby Lobby to pay for the four they find objectionable. That is as it should be.

In all except cases of rape, women have a choice about conception. The choice is whether to have sexual relations, which we know can lead to pregnancy. Every choice we make has consequences. Unfortunately, many of us are not willing to accept consequences of our actions we don’t like, even though we made the choices that can lead to unfavorable consequences.

I personally am not willing to pay for anyone’s abortion. The argument of botched back-alley abortions is ludicrous. Again, even when these were the choice available to pregnant women, they had a choice: Carry the baby or risk an unsafe abortion. I salute the Supreme Court’s decision.
