Film auditions Saturday seeking male actors

Durango filmmaker Gregor Wallace will be holding auditions for a short film Saturday at Durango Joe’s, 732 E. College Drive.

The film, “Social Interrogation,” is a commentary on social media. It will be co-produced by Jennifer Hartzog, a documentary filmmaker and editor who has worked as an associate producer on three reality TV shows.

The casting calls for three adult males in their 30s-40s and three teenage males. Interested actors should contact Wallace at gregor.wallace94@gmail.com to reserve a time slot for an audition.

Wallace, who has made five short films, will be attending film school in Edinburgh, Scotland, in the fall.

Feat of Clay hosts exhibit opening

Feat of Clay Gallery in Aztec will host an opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. today for two new exhibits. The gallery is at 107 S. Main Ave. in Aztec.

The show features the work of Pat Knight and Lorraine Trenholm.

Knight is a sketch artist and printmaker whose work is influenced by art from the period of the late 1700s to 1920.

Trenholm is an oil and pastel artist who specializes in animal artistry and has a flare for dogs and horses.

The show will be up through Aug. 15 at Feat of Clay.
