The San Juan/Four Corners Native Plant Society is sponsoring an excursion into the Hermosa Creek forest and wetlands Saturday to view and learn about wildflowers.

Plans call for meeting at 7 a.m. at Animas City Park to carpool to Bolam Lake Meadows via Hermosa Creek Pass Road.

Take a lunch, 2 liters of water, layered clothing and definitely top and bottom rain gear and waterproof boots.
