The Durango Area Tourism Office will have a new sales and marketing manager starting Sept. 29.

Andrea Seid, who has a decade of marketing and sales experience with the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, intends to improve DATO’s marketing plans in order to better impact tourism, according to a news release from DATO.

Bob Kunkel, executive director of DATO, said Seid’s experience “will be a great addition to DATO’s domestic and international marketing efforts.”
