'Cross Currents'

The Fort Lewis College Art Gallery’s first show of the school year, “Cross Currents,” will open today with a reception from 4:30-6 p.m. The show features the work of nine contemporary Native American artists, including Nicholas Galanin, Frank Buffalo Hyde and Sarah Sense, whose “Weaving the Bayou” is seen here. “Cross Currents” was organized by the Center for Visual Art, Metropolitan State University of Denver and is curated by the center’s creative director, Cecily Cullen.
