Send Mercy cashier off with well wishes

How many of you have had the honor of receiving a kind word from the cashier in the cafeteria at Mercy Regional Medical Center? She offers a ray of sunshine and a glimmer of hope, no matter the reason you might be there. Well, this may be your last chance to wish her luck! At 81 years of age and continuing to work a 40-hour week, she has decided to retire. Friday will be her last day. Her positive outlook on life, hard work and unwillingness to give up will continue to be an inspiration to many. In her words, “The people are my vitamins.” Please, stop by and join us in wishing her luck in her new adventure.
