With two in the first and six in the second, the Durango Demons’ boys soccer team beat Piedra Vista 8-3 on Tuesday in Farmington, according to MaxPreps.com.

Durango improved to 5-1-1.

Piedra Vista is 1-7.

Durango will open Southwestern League play at 5 p.m. Friday at Montrose and 11 a.m. Saturday at Fruita Monument.
