I had the pleasure of meeting sheriff candidate Sean Smith recently and was very impressed with his experience and background.

This applies most particularly to his passion and concern for helping jail prisoners avoid the revolving door of returning to jail after release by implementing simple and sensible support programs – often with community volunteers – to help get their lives back on track with information on employment, housing, drug treatment and other life-related issues.

Not much of this is happening now.

Sean Smith will make a great county sheriff who will ably represent all of the people of our county.

Elect someone who cares.
