Vail Mountain beat the Ignacio High School volleyball team 3-1 (15-25, 25-22, 25-20, 25-21) at the Simla Invitational on Saturday in Simla.

The Bobcats also played Rye and Wray, but results weren’t immediately available.

IHS (1-5) will return to Southern Peaks League play at 4 p.m. Thursday at Telluride.
