The Bikes & Bands Bash, featuring live music and fun, cycling-related activities, is set for Saturday at Fort Lewis College.
The Bash is a fundraiser for the Fort Lewis College Cycling Team, Durango Devo, Trails 2000 and Durango Daybreak Rotary.
It will be held at the plaza between the FLC Community Concert Hall and Center of Southwest Studies.
The Bikes & Bands Bash is produced by the Durango Daybreak Rotary and the FLC Cycling Team to promote cycling and doing good in the community. It’ll include music by Robby Overfield, the Moetones, Papa Otis and more.
Cycling-related activities include the Durango Fall Blaze, Devo Junior/FLC Team Relay, MTB Cyclocross (youths 12-17), MTB Cyclocross (adults), Cyclocross, Huffy Toss/Ghost Ride, Community/Corporate Team Relays and a Vintage Bike Show.
The event is held in conjunction with the Durango Fall Blaze, a road bike tour that raises money for the FLC Cycling Scholarship Fund.
Tickets for Bikes & Bands Bash are $10 each and are available through FLC Cycling, Durango Devo, Trails 2000 and at the event.
