Passport applications and renewals now available at Fort Lewis College

Fort Lewis College International Programs Office is accepting passport applications and renewals for U.S. citizens looking to travel outside of the country. An appointment is necessary to complete the process.

“We are excited to offer this service to our students and our entire community,” said Jennifer Gay, director of International Programs Office. “Our goal is to make sure all students can apply for a passport in a timely manner.”

Mitch Davis, spokesman for FLC, said the ability to accept passport application will be “convenient” for students and community members.

Appointments are available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday in the International Programs Office, located in 106 Jones Hall on the FLC campus.

Applications already are being accepted.

A $25 fee is required with each application. The fee goes to the U.S. Department of the State, Gay said. Eventually, some of that money will go to scholarships for FLC students going abroad, or international students coming to Durango.

For more information, call the International Programs Office at 247-7672.
