The Region 9 Economic Development District of Southwest Colorado announced today its newest additions to the board of directors. Lana Hancock, Larry Don Suckla and Clint Alley have recently joined the board, according to a Region 9 news release.

Hancock is the administrator for the town of Dolores and will be representing Dolores. Suckla is a Montezuma County Commissioner and Alley serves as a trustee for the town of Pagosa Springs.

All three were elected at Region 9’s annual meeting, Sept. 25.

Region 9 is a public/private partnership that promotes and coordinates economic development efforts in five Colorado counties.

The Region 9 board of directors is comprised of representatives from the 17 local governmental jurisdictions and nine members from the private sector. The next board meeting will be Jan. 22. Call 247-9621 for more information.
