Another game, another goal for the developing Bayfield High School boys soccer program.

BHS traveled to Ridgway on Friday afternoon for a Class 3A Region 5 contest against the Demons (4-7, 3-7 3A Region 5). The Wolverines (1-11, 1-9 3A Region 5) trailed just 2-1 at halftime but couldn’t claw any closer as they fell 5-1.

Statistics for the game were not immediately available.

BHS will play again at 11 a.m. Saturday at Telluride (8-2, 8-1 3A Region 5) before they will finish the season Oct. 16 at Pagosa Springs (7-3, 5-3 3A Region 5).
