Unload Udall as new beginning

In the Oct. 22 issue of the National Review, Quin Hillyer wrote a piece that declared, in essence, that Barack Obama, arguably the worst president ever, has produced an unmatched series of “failures and calamities,” aided and abetted by every Democratic senator virtually 100 percent of the time. The horrendous list of screw-ups starts with the so-called stimulus act of 2009 when Obama promised hundreds of thousands of shovel-ready jobs.

There were virtually none, and billions of dollars were wasted. It continues on with the disasters called Obamacare, Benghazi, Solyndra (cronyism), the doubling of gas prices, the delay of the Keystone pipeline, the war on fossil fuels and the over-reaching of the Environmental Protection Agency and the National Labor Relations board.

The list continues. Obama has widened racial divisions, promised a “transparent” administration but delivered the exact opposite, so bad that even the liberal press has decried a lack of transparency. Obama has been mired in scandals: gun running in Mexico (Fast & Furious), Internal Revenue Service abuse of conservative groups, racialism in the Justice Department, spying on the press, trading terrorists for a deserter, creating chaos at the Mexican border, lies and cover ups about Benghazi ... the list of ineptitude and incompetence goes on and on. ISIS and the handling of Ebola and his next threatened Obamination will be yet another amnesty for untold millions of illegal aliens.

Colonel Ralph Peters finally said it out loud: Obama is frozen by a lack of success and probably needs a psychiatrist. The word “delusional” crept in to the rant. And the Democratic senators, all of them, have backed or kowtowed to Obama nearly 100 percent of the time. Where are the old-time independent dissenters? Where are the tough guys?

Let’s start by unloading Sen. Mark Udall, a staunch supporter of the Obama way and a senatorial back-bencher at best. Vote for Cory Gardner, a young, strong, clear-thinking, straight talker. It’s a beginning and a good one. Above all, we need to find a way to reach our young people to help them save their future.
