A pot enthusiast may have pilfered a sign that read “Weed? Feed!!” from Kassidy’s Kitchen in Bodo Industrial Park, the owner Keith “Kassidy” Byington suspects.

He expected the handmade sign to disappear eventually, but it only lasted three weeks before vanishing Tuesday night.

“I didn’t pay anything for it. It was the thought that counted,” Byington said.

The sign was inspired by a recreational marijuana shop that opened near the restaurant.

It had gained popularity with passers-by and on Facebook – especially when they discovered a “Vote” sign could be captured in the frame of a photo.

“Weed? Feed !! Vote” pictures circulated before someone lifted the handmade sign.

Byington will likely craft another smart-aleck sign because “a little humor in life makes a difference.”

He did not report the crime to the police but would appreciate it if the original sign was returned.
