Oregon already is headed to the Pac-12 championship game after clinching the league’s North Division. As the No. 2 team in the College Football Playoff rankings, the Ducks likely are headed to one of the first playoff games if they can win out and claim the league title game. Colorado’s season will end after the finale at home against Utah the week after the visit to Eugene.

Oregon’s offensive line is beat up, but they should have no trouble protecting quarterback Marcus Mariota from the Buffaloes, who are ranked 103rd in the nation in total defense. The Ducks’ dual threat quarterback, a favorite for the Heisman, needs nine more rushing yards to become the fifth quarterback in NCAA history with 9,000 passing yards and 2,000 rushing yards. Among those in front of him are Colin Kaepernick and Tim Tebow.

Colorado: Wide receiver Nelson Spruce leads the nation with 99 catches, and he’s ranked seventh in receiving yards with 1,091 and fourth with 11 touchdown catches. He could see success against the Ducks, ranked 10th in the Pac-12 in pass defense.

Oregon: Running back Royce Freeman needs 55 yards to reach 1,000 for the season, which will make him the first true freshman at Oregon to reach the plateau. Freeman has 14 rushing touchdowns so far this season; the school record for a season is held by Kenjon Barner and LaMichael James, who each had 21-touchdown seasons.

Facts & Figures
