Democrats, media ethically challenged

During the last week or so, six or seven videos of Obamacare’s main architect, Jonathan Gruber, have been released, all showing Gruber arrogantly talking about the stupidity of the American voter and how the Obama administration deliberately lied or covered up what was going to actually happen within Obamacare.

The general concept is that if all the truth about Obamacare had been told, it would have been impossible to pass the legislation. In other words, some liberal elites are lying to the public because the benefits of some liberal project are such a “right thing to do” that it’s worth lying to the public about.

Laws are given grandiose names in order to hide the fact that they’re actually bad ideas for the public: The public probably wouldn’t support a lot of leftist legislation if all the facts were known. The most brazen hiding of the truth was House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi telling the nation that Obamacare had to be passed before people could really learn what was in it. Now that people see that almost all the promises like “you can keep your doctor,” “this will lower costs,” “if you like your health-care plan, you can keep it,” etc., were deliberate lies. Pelosi avoids the topic. The useful idiots have been had once again.

The liberal media have been blatant supporters of Obama and Obamacare and, in fact, pretty much supporters of every idea that the Obama administration has uttered. Voter-ID phobia, the war on women and numerous other memes have been dutifully parroted by the liberal press, which often simply appear to be Democratic operatives with bylines. But the Jonathan Gruber story – where is it?

The liberal press has done everything it can to hide the fact that the Obama administration is exposed once again as ethically challenged and the administration is trying to hide the truth. But so are the liberal media ethically challenged, and many journalist talking heads are embarrassed when this lack of coverage of Gruber is mentioned.
