Seniors Outdoors offers activities

Seniors Outdoors will offer these activities:

A hike of the Highland Mary Lakes/Continental Divide Trail Loop will take place at 7 a.m. Monday. Poles are helpful for creek crossings. The cost to carpool is $9. Four-wheel-drive vehicles are needed. To RSVP, call Susan Beck-Brown at 375-0948 or email sbeckbrown@yahoo.com.

A bike ride for intermediate road cyclists will take place at 8:30 a.m. Monday. This is a no-drop, social ride of 16 miles (round-trip) from Home Depot to Bread. The group will meet in the south parking lot at Home Depot. The Wednesday Wanderers will hike Spud Lake at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday. Dogs on leashes will be allowed. Nonmembers should RSVP. The cost to carpool is $5. For more information, call Eric Pahlke at 247-1130.

A climb of Wasatch Mountain, La Junta Peak and an unnamed 13,145 peak southeast of Telluride will take place Aug. 5 and 6. Participants should expect some steep, off-trail climbing on unstable terrain.
