9-R superintendent to give update on School Vault

District-wide system measures student achievement
Snowberger

Durango School District 9-R Superintendent Dan Snowberger will update school board members on the development and use of School Vault, a system to measure student progress in real time.

The method, criticized in some quarters, was developed by educators from 9-R and Bayfield School District. It allows teachers to monitor student work and intervene quickly if necessary.

The board meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. at the district office, 201 east 12th St. It’s estimated that the School Vault matter will begin around 6 p.m.
