Look what arrived early in Santa’s Sleigh – the Hermosa Creek Watershed Protection Act finally passed! Thanks to lots of hard work by good people, the Hermosa Creek watershed will be open for continued multi-use groups, including hikers, horsemen, cyclists, off-road vehicles, hunters and anglers.

A warm, heart-felt thank you goes out to Rep. Scott Tipton and Sen. Michael Bennet in their ongoing efforts to protect this special place. The Hermosa Creek bill preserved our access, quality of life for community members and enhances our local business economy.
