After throwing most of the snow over a retaining wall, Rick Hermesman finishes clearing compacted snow that city snowplows had piled on the sidewalk along Main Avenue on Wednesday morning. The city of Durango requires occupants, owners and tenants of any premises next to a public sidewalk to remove all snow and ice from it.
