Sometimes, the best antidote to a cold January night is a couple hours of foot-stomping, partner-swinging, harmony-hitting, fast-picking bluegrass music. We’re in luck, because that’s precisely what’s in store Thursday at the Animas City Theatre when Trout Steak Revival (pictured) and Mountain Standard Time will take the stage. Trout Steak Revival, an excellent up-and-coming outfit that won the 2014 Telluride Bluegrass Festival Band Competition, will warm the crowd up with its tightly knit numbers, and Mountain Standard Time will whip it into a frenzy with its free-grass stylings.
