The Durango-La Plata County Airport will host an open house from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Durango Transit Center, 250 W. Eighth St., according to a La Plata County news release.

Members of the public will learn about the three alternatives for the Durango-La Plata County Airport terminal as part of a 20-year master plan. Attendees are invited to provide input regarding the plan.

The public also is invited to take a “Go Where Your Bags Go” tour of the airport for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at airport terminal operations, the news release said.

Tours are offered the first Thursday of every month from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Tours are limited in size, so early sign up is recommended.
