Oli Sakadinsky’s thoughtful op-ed concerning Jefferson County and its current attempts at rewriting U.S. history is cogent and well-written (Herald, Jan. 18). Animas High School, Ashley Carruth and the Sakadinskys have apparently provided educational experiences that have aided in the development of an intelligent, perceptive student.
